Before

It's time to renovate the bathrooms starting with the fixtures and cabinet color. It all started when I replaced the black matte doorknobs on all of the interior doors in my home. Just doing that started the desire for a cleaner, simpler look. 

I then had my home completely painted white on both the inside and out adding black matt trim on the exterior. I love the look.

And now it's time to update the design in the bathrooms to tye it in to the rest of the home. I am starting with the main powder room. The idea is to change just a few things like the cabinet paint color, knobs, fixtures and choose a paint color to match a softer calmer mood. Can't wait to pick out a cute rug!

 So far here is the hardware options I have chosen.

The paint color for the cabinet will be Iron Ore SW. Since I just painted the walls white the contrast should be nice. Iron Ore color is a dark charcoal gray. I will be accenting the cabinet with brass handles and knobs and adding a black light fixture. All fixtures bought on Amazon.

And more about the paint...

The tile counter will be replaced with a marble counter top (on order) and the mirror changed to a more modern black round metal mirror.

BEFORE & AFTER: SEALING OUTDOOR TILE

My outdoor Mexican tile was in dire need of restoration. After researching several types of sealer I came upon Behr Premium Wet-look Sealer. Since my patio tile is the original-unglazed tile imported from Mexico, and 20 years old, I wanted to be careful what I used on this fragile weather-beaten tile. After sealing it with Behr sealer I am SO happy with the results. It is a white milky liquid that literally gets soaked into these tiles. It's like a face-lift for your tiles. I highly recommend this product, it turned out beautiful. You can find it at Home Depot -$45.

BEFORE & AFTER: GARAGE CLEANUP PHASE 1

GARAGE TRANSFORMATION: Phase 1 The Clean up and painting. Since I have not used my garage for parking for 3 years now, I thought it was time to start my garage cleanup. It is a 3 car garage with lots of stuff. First thing I did was ordered a dumpster. I then went through all my belongings and got rid of half of my old stuff. (This part took the longest as I had tons of stuff.) Next, I painted walls, floor, and exterior garage doors. Wall color went from stark white to crème yellow and gray floors. I almost replaced the garage doors as they are wooden and heavy and didn't open right. But decided to repair and paint the garage door instead. I am glad I did as it turned out great and I can now park in my garage again. So now On to phase 2…GARAGE ORGANIZATION.
